Sisters Miyuki and Chiharu who live in the city are advised by a doctor to take a vacation. They come to the countryside where cabbage fields spread endlessly. Arriving at their hotel, they meet a gruff owner, his son, a fisherman and a hippy woman. Through interactions with these people, the sisters gradually find what they really need for their lives and it’s as if flower buds, long a sleep, start to blossom within them.
